Before the trip
| Do you allow pets? |
For the comfort of all guests, only pre-approved pets are permitted. There may be a charge associated with bringing a pet. Please contact the office by phone or email.

| What do I bring? |
Bring everything you would bring to stay in a hotel (clothing, personal hygeine), but also bring linens for the beds.
Blankets and pillows are provided, but sheets and towels are not.
Also consider bringing fishing rods and insect repellant (at least in the warmer months).

Activities
| Do you rent boats? |
We do not rent boats. Besides being prohibitively expensive, our pier is better suited to fishing, and our beach to swimming. Canoes or rafts may be available at times (you must check at the office in person).
Solomons Island may be the closest facility providing boat rentals.

| Can I bring my boat? |
Bringing a boat to Camp Merryelande requires careful planning.
Consider where you will park (we only have select areas that can accomodate an automobile with trailer),
where you will launch (there is a public ramp 3 miles away),
and where you will cruise (our pier is not designed to accomodate boats, and the surrounding water is very shallow).
